Information reaching us had shown that the new Vice Chancellor (VC) of the of Jos Prof. Sebastian Seddi Maimako who has spent just 34days in office was viciously attacked by some unknown armed men along Eto'baba Road, Jos North L. G. A Plateau State.
The Attack which occurred at around 9pm resulted in the death of a Police Officer who is his aide, while other casualties remained unconfirmed as at the time of filling this report.
The unknown Gunmen, masked by the shadow of darkness as a result of a total black-out by the PHCN swiftly carried out their operations, before the security men where alerted they vanished into the tin air.
